There is good news for female students, girls beat boys despite their diversified reading habits, say a survey by
ASSOCHAM. Male students between the age groups of 18-26 generally outshine their female counterparts in reading habits but it is the girls that score better an higher over their male counterparts, whether it is in academic or competitive examinations said the study.
“Why females are going reasonably better in academics and even competitive examinations with their limited participation is because they are more focused,” revealed the survey.

And there is more good news for girls! The survey states that the concentration levels of girls in whatever they attempt to do to carye out careers is much more intense and is driven by utter sincerity to accomplish goals ,while boys generally lag behind.

However, the report said that boys have very diverse interests which they pursue equalky. These include, reading sports etc.
